Our Quality Guarantee

At Black Lion Sign L.L.C, quality is not just a promise β€” it is built into our process. Every order goes through multi-stage quality checks before it leaves our facility. We use premium materials, professional-grade equipment, and experienced print operators to ensure the highest standard on every job.

If your order arrives with any defect, damage, or quality issue caused by us, we will reprint it for free β€” no extra charge, no complicated claims process.

When We Reprint for Free

We will reprint your order at no charge if the issue falls into any of the following categories:

  • Print quality defects β€” banding, colour shifts, fading, or blurring caused by machine or operator error
  • Wrong product delivered β€” you received a different size, finish, or product type than ordered
  • Damaged in delivery β€” products arrived visibly damaged, bent, or broken due to poor packaging
  • Incorrect quantity β€” you received fewer items than your confirmed order
  • Cutting or finishing errors β€” items cut outside tolerance, lamination peeling, or poor binding
  • Colour accuracy issues β€” significant colour deviation from your approved artwork proof (where proof was approved)

To qualify for a free reprint, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the defective items.

What Is Not Covered

The following situations are not covered under our reprint guarantee:

  • Customer-supplied artwork errors β€” spelling mistakes, wrong logos, incorrect contact details, or design issues in the file you provided
  • Colour variation from screen display β€” screens display colours in RGB; print uses CMYK. Minor colour differences between screen and print are normal and expected
  • Change of mind β€” we cannot accept returns or offer reprints simply because you have changed your mind or requirements after production
  • Low-resolution files β€” if you provided a low-resolution or incorrect-spec file and approved it for print
  • Claims after 48 hours β€” quality claims raised more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery
  • Damaged after delivery β€” damage caused by the customer during storage, use, or installation
⚠️ Important: Always review your artwork carefully before submitting. We will send a digital proof on request for complex jobs. Approved proofs transfer responsibility for content accuracy to the customer.

How to Request a Reprint

Requesting a reprint is simple and fast. Follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order

  • Step 4: We will review and confirm within a few hours
  • Step 5: Approved reprints are produced and dispatched with priority

Refund Policy

As a print-to-order business, all our products are custom-produced specifically for each customer. For this reason, we do not offer cash refunds as a standard practice. Our remedy for quality issues is always a free reprint.

However, refunds may be issued at our discretion in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • We are unable to produce a satisfactory reprint within a reasonable timeframe
  • The error was entirely our fault and a reprint cannot resolve the situation
  • The order was cancelled before production began (see cancellation policy below)

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.

Artwork & File Guidelines

To ensure the best print quality and avoid issues, please follow these artwork guidelines:

  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI at final print size
  • Format: PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, PSD, or high-resolution JPEG/PNG
  • Colour mode: CMYK for best colour accuracy. RGB files are automatically converted
  • Bleed: 3mm bleed on all sides for products with cutting
  • Safe zone: Keep important text and logos at least 5mm from the edge
  • Fonts: Embed or outline all fonts before saving
